Bolzano Danza 2024

Bolzano Danza is one of the most renowned festivals of national and international contemporary dance, which, every July, brings together professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world in one city, Bolzano.

Bolzano Danza/Tanz Bozen was born 40 years ago as an addition of the classical dance section of Bolzano Summer. An event that was created to encompass dance performances and courses, organised by the city and province of South Tyrol. In the course of these four decades, given the success of the first edition, new workshops, courses, performances and social and environmental commitments have gradually been added.

Bolzano Danza will take place between 12 and 27 July, two weeks in which the South Tyrolean city will welcome a diverse and curious public that will come to the area to attend this evocative festival that brings rhythm, energy and fun to every corner of the city. This Festival not only focuses on dance, but also involves and highlights important themes such as inclusion, participation and sustainability through contemporary choreographies and performances.

There will be the opportunity for boys and girls to participate in various workshops held by teachers of national and international calibre from the five continents, with whom they can get to know, study and deepen their knowledge of the various dance styles and more. Even for the youngest children there will be courses dedicated to them. In addition, there will be numerous performances, seminars, initiatives and events organised in the city of Bolzano.
