The Gitschberg-Jochtal holiday region offers a total of 44 kilometres of slopes, 16 cable car facilities and a new cable car connection between the two ski resorts. There are two ski resorts: The cable car facilities in Maranza bring you up to the Gitschberg ski resort, which is ideal for young people; at the village entry to Valles you'll find two ski lifts, which bring you to family-friendly slopes in the Jochtal ski resort. Furthermore, you'll find cross-country tracks and toboggan runs.

The Gitschberg-Jochtal holiday region offers a vast selection of hiking paths, which are marked with their respective level of difficulty: there are easy trails which are also suitable for children, like the Round Trail of Maranza (7 km) or the Maranza-Rio di Pusteria hiking path (4.3 km). Those who are used to hiking find trails with a high level of difficulty like the Aica-Spinga round hike (7.4 km) or the path to Rodengo and Cima Lasta (20 km). Furthermore, you'll find numerous Nordic walking trails and mountain-bike routes. And paragliding is offered for those without fears.
