A journey through the culture of ancient Etruria
The exhibition route is divided into eight stages steeped in wonder: from sacred works to everyday objects, from refined ceramics to bronze masterpieces recounting the life, rituals and dreams of the Etruscans.
Among the treasures on display, you will admire the ‘Nicosthenes’ amphora, signed by the famous Athenian potter Nikosthenes, and the magical lustre of bucchero, a black ceramic that enchants with its timeless elegance. You can also admire the satyr's head antefix, a fragment of mythology that embellished the Portonaccio temple at Veio.
