A Historic Center to Explore
At the heart of the village once stood what was known as the Castle of Ora, the former residence of the Lords of Ora. Today, the building — owned by the Fioreschy family — is known as Fioreschy Residence.
The historic center is lively and welcoming, full of family-run cafés and hotels where you can enjoy homemade pastries and traditional South Tyrolean dishes. To make your stay even more flavorful, there are culinary events such as the renowned Wine Tasting Days of the South Tyrolean Lowlands, where visitors can sample more than 120 labels from 25 local wineries.
