Winter in Val Passiria: Skiing, adventure and relaxation among snow-covered peaks
Winter in Val Passiria means abundant snow, modern ski facilities and postcard-perfect landscapes. Here you’ll find two ski areas ideal for all levels — perfect for family holidays, getaways with friends or romantic escapes.
Whether you’re an experienced skier or hitting the slopes for the first time, this valley offers endless fun in the snow — without giving up comfort, peace and genuine hospitality.
Racines-Giovo: A modern and diverse ski resort
Located in one of the snowiest areas of South Tyrol, Racines-Giovo is one of the most advanced ski areas in the region. It offers:
- 8 ski lifts
- 25 km of perfectly groomed slopes
- 16 runs suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers
In December 2008, the Easypark Racines was inaugurated near the Enzian chairlift — a snowpark designed for both beginners and experienced freestylers, with jumps, rails and flow lines perfect for improving skills safely.
For sledding enthusiasts, a 5 km toboggan run is suitable for all ages, while cross-country skiers can enjoy a scenic and easy 15 km trail.
