Carezza: Sports and fun among the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites
The Carezza ski lifts reach right up to the foot of the spectacular peaks of the Catinaccio and Latemar, in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site since 2009. Here, every winter sport becomes a picture-perfect experience — surrounded by sunny slopes, crisp alpine air, and views that leave you speechless.
Skiing for everyone, by day and… by night!
With 40 km of slopes ranging from 1,120 to 2,338 meters in altitude, Carezza is perfect for skiers of all levels. The ski area is served by 16 modern lifts:
- 1 cable car
- 7 chairlifts
- 8 ski lifts
The slopes are bathed in sunlight for most of the day, making every run even more enjoyable.
Tobogganing: Fun for young and old
In Carezza, tobogganing is a must! The Hubertus Run, 1,200 m long, starts from the upper station at 1,766 m and winds down to the valley, right beside the ski slope. Carefully prepared, it’s perfect for family fun.
And that’s not all!
- In Nova Levante, every Wednesday evening, the Pentner – Säge run is lit up until 10:00 p.m.
- There’s also the Lago Nero run, 1.5 km long, accessible via the Golf ski lift.
Sledding by moonlight or at night? In Carezza, you can!
Snowpark: Where adrenaline takes flight
Freestyle enthusiasts will find their paradise at the Carezza Snowpark, where the Medium Line challenges even the most experienced snowboarders. A special highlight of this Snowpark is the nine-meter-long DFD tank — the only one of its kind in all South Tyrol!
Happy kids on the snow: King Laurin awaits!
For the little ones (ages 2–7), fun is guaranteed at the King Laurin Snow Kindergarten, located between the Hubertus cable car and the Paolina chairlift.
Inflatables, rides, magic carpets, and activities with ski instructors let children discover the mountains in a playful and safe way — a snowy kingdom where they feel right at home.
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing: Nature and alpine silence
At Carezza, cross-country skiing lovers will find their ideal playground: 16 km of well-groomed trails with free access. The local ski school also offers lessons for beginners who want to learn the sport.
Those who prefer walking through the snow can enjoy snowshoe hikes or peaceful winter walks.
8 days out of 10, the sun shines on the Dolomites, and it’s hard to resist the call of the white trails.
At the Tourist Office of Nova Levante, you can pick up an updated trail map: choose your route and let nature guide you.
