Knödel Festival in Vipiteno
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the charming town of Vipiteno will host the Knödel Festival—an annual celebration that fills the streets with flavors, aromas, and age-old traditions.
In the picturesque historic center, stretching from the Old Town to the New Town, a 400-meter-long table will be set up where you can taste over 70 varieties of dumplings—each more delicious than the last. From classics like speck dumplings to alpine herb, mountain cheese, mushroom, and asparagus dumplings, as well as creative twists like curry or gorgonzola dumplings.
Got a sweet tooth? You’re in luck! Try sweet knödel filled with apricot, ricotta, nougat, and even chocolate—impossible to resist.
