Knödel Festival in Vipiteno
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Knödel Festival awaits you in the heart of beautiful Vipiteno – a culinary festival that transforms the town every year into an experience full of flavour, aromas and tradition.
In the picturesque old town, between Altstadt and Neustadt, an impressive 400-metre-long table is set up. Here you can taste over 70 different types of Knödel – each more delicious than the last: from classic Speck dumplings to dumplings with Alpine herbs, mountain cheese, mushrooms and asparagus, as well as creative variations such as curry Knödel or Gorgonzola Knödel.
And for those with a sweet tooth, there are also sweet Knödel: with apricots, quark, nougat and even chocolate – simply irresistible.
