Südtirol Jazzfestival 2026

From June 26 to July 5, 2026, South Tyrol once again becomes an extraordinary stage for contemporary jazz. The Südtirol Jazzfestival 2026 celebrates its 44th edition with over 50 concerts, international artists and exceptional venues throughout South Tyrol.

Cities, lakes, castles, mountain landscapes and surprising locations become meeting places for music, nature and culture. The festival is one of South Tyrol’s most traditional music events: it began in 1982 as “Jazz Summer” and later developed into today’s Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige. While the concerts initially took place mainly in Bolzano, the festival now extends to many locations across the region.

Jazz in extraordinary locations

The opening of the Südtirol Jazzfestival 2026 is planned for June 26 at NOI Techpark in Bolzano. Afterwards, the programme will lead to a wide variety of venues – from urban squares and industrial architecture to Alpine landscapes.

It is precisely this unusual combination that makes the festival so special: jazz meets South Tyrolean nature, historic places and modern spaces. In squares, parks, clubs, castles and special venues, an atmosphere is created that goes far beyond a classic concert.
