SellaRonda Skimarathon
As evening falls over the Dolomites and the ski slopes grow quiet, the most anticipated event for winter sports and high-altitude enthusiasts comes to life.
Welcome to the SellaRonda Skimarathon, the renowned nighttime ski mountaineering race for teams of two. This year marks the 32nd edition of the marathon, taking place in Val Gardena on March 20, 2026.
Athletes will once again face an exhilarating course: 42 kilometers with 2,700 meters of elevation gain—a race that tests endurance, technique, and team coordination while delivering intense emotion.
Participants will complete a ring-shaped route starting from Selva di Val Gardena, passing through the four legendary passes of the Sella Group: Passo Gardena, Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, and Passo Sella—crossing the iconic mountain towns of Corvara, Arabba, and Canazei.
The silence of the night will be broken only by the sound of skis on snow and the glow of headlamps tracing a luminous serpentine path along the slopes—creating a magical and captivating atmosphere. It’s a high-adrenaline adventure beneath the stars.
Spectators who prefer to relax can follow the race live via streaming at 6:00 PM. There will also be plenty of activities to enjoy while waiting for the athletes to cross the finish line.
