Merano WineFestival
From 6 to 10 November 2026, the historic Kurhaus in Merano once again becomes an international meeting place for wine enthusiasts, producers and industry professionals. In 2026, the Merano WineFestival celebrates its 35th edition and continues a tradition that began in 1992, establishing itself as one of the leading events dedicated to outstanding wines and international food and wine culture.
Outstanding wines from Italy and around the world
At the heart of the festival is a carefully selected range of wines and producers from Italy and wine regions across the globe. The Wine Italia, Wine International and WineHunter Area sections invite visitors to discover different grape varieties, terroirs and winemaking styles. Many of the wines on show have been recognised by the tasting panels of the WineHunter Award.
There is plenty to discover beyond wine too. At Culinaria, held in the GourmetArena, visitors can sample gourmet specialities, spirits, liqueurs and craft beers. Show cooking and opportunities to meet the producers add to the culinary experience.
TasteTerroir – bio&dynamica
The programme gets underway on 6 November 2026 with TasteTerroir – bio&dynamica, a day dedicated in particular to organic, biodynamic and natural wines, as well as new approaches to more sustainable and conscious winemaking.
Alongside organic and natural wines, visitors can explore amphora wines and low- and no-alcohol alternatives. Culinary specialities and other gourmet products in the GourmetArena complete the experience.
Catwalk Champagne &more
The extended festival programme comes to a close on 10 November 2026 with Catwalk Champagne &more at the Kurhaus. The spotlight is on Champagne and premium sparkling wines from Italy and abroad, accompanied by selected culinary offerings and tastings.
Venue & tickets
The Kurhaus in Merano is the main venue of the Merano WineFestival. Depending on the event, the programme also extends to the GourmetArena, Puccini Theatre, Hotel Terme Merano and locations in Merano city centre as part of the Fuori Salone.
