Canederli Festival in Sterzing/Vipiteno
The traditional Canederli Festival returns to Vipiteno, in its picturesque historic centre, a festival to celebrate one of the most popular specialities of South Tyrol. On Sunday, 10th September 2023, don't pass up the opportunity to taste this typical South Tyrolean delicacy at one of the most beautiful festivals in town.
For the Canederli Festival, a 400-metre long, will be set up in the city center of Sterzing and you will have the opportunity to taste about different varieties of sweet and savory dumplings. A menu that will give you the pleasure of savouring traditional speck dumplings, those with asparagus, with red turnips or with other types of vegetables, meat and cheese, not forgetting all the varieties of sweet dumplings such as those with apricots.
Everything will be accompanied as usual by music and entertainment, wrapped in the magical atmosphere of the beautiful town of Sterzing in the Isarco Valley.
